The Korean Robot Industry Promotion Agency (Director: Son Woong-hee) held the ‘2022 Promising Robot Tech IR VC Roundtable’ event at Seoul Startup Hub on the 18th.

This event, held as a pre-event for IR tours during the 2022 RoboWorld period, was designed to convey the excellence and technological capabilities of participating robot companies in the ‘2022 Promising Robot IR Special Exhibition’ to investors and to receive feedback.

Eight robot companies and nine investment firms participated in the event. They had time for company-specific IR pitching and networking between companies and investors to introduce and share information about their products.

The participating companies selected for the ‘2022 Promising Robot IR Special Exhibition’ included AgeRobotics Co., Ltd., Reset Company Co., Ltd., iRobotics, D-ROBOT, Ara Company, NVEX, DriveTek Co., Ltd., and D-ALDRIVE Co., Ltd.

In addition, nine domestic VC and AC investment firms, including Korea Investment Accelerator, Shinhan Venture Investment, and Hyundai Technology Investment, participated. They showed interest in the competitiveness of robot companies’ products and expressed willingness for investment.

The agency will operate the ‘2022 Promising Robot IR Special Exhibition’ at the ‘2022 RoboWorld Exhibition’ next week to provide a demonstration venue for products. It will also conduct a total of three IR tours based on product demonstrations for approximately 20 investment firms. Furthermore, the agency plans to hold an Investment Partners Day in November to continue supporting successful investment attraction.

Kim Seo-hyun, Director of the Korean Robot Industry Promotion Agency, commented, “It was a meaningful time to convey the competitiveness of robot companies’ products in advance and to listen to feedback from investors. Based on this event, I hope for good results in the IR tours as well.“
