Changwon City Hosts Chang IR Day and Chang Star Club Day Events

“Changwon=Newsis] Reporter Kang Kyung-guk = Changwon City in Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 29th that it held ChangChang IR Day to discover outstanding technology startups in the region and provide investment support, as well as ChangChang Star Club Day to support networking between investors and startup companies at the Changwon Startup Support Center seminar hall.

The first part of the event, ChangChang IR Day, and the second part, ChangChang Star Club Day, were conducted separately.

ChangChang IR Day, held for the first time this year under the slogan ‘Let’s Start Up in Changwon!’, was led by Gyeongnam Venture Investment Co., Ltd., a local investment company in Changwon. It involved investment consultations and consulting for IR companies, with plans to hold it five times a year (odd months).

Gyeongnam Venture Investment is the operator of the C-Bluewing Fund 2nd Generation Local New Deal & Bio Fund, a Changwon City’s self-funded fund.

ChangChang Star Club Day, planned for the first time this year as part of Changwon City’s startup network support project, is aimed at facilitating investment networking among startup support organizations, venture capital firms (VCs), and (prospective) startup companies. It is scheduled to be held six times a year (odd months).

The ChangChang IR Day presentation featured participation from five companies including Hex Co., Ltd. (B2E electric power generation exercise equipment and devices), AG Robotics Co., Ltd. (AI autonomous driving agricultural robot system), DX Solutions Co., Ltd. (AI RPA-based intelligent control services), Miracle Claire Co., Ltd. (digital medical device for relieving teeth grinding during sleep), and SV Engineering Co., Ltd. (liquid pump parts manufacturing).

ChangChang Star Club Day featured a special lecture from Gyeongnam Venture Investment on the topic of ‘Early-stage startup fundraising.’

Mayor Hong Nam-pyo stated, “Through events like ChangChang IR Day and networking, we will support successful investment attraction by matching startups with investors.” He added, “I expect that the activation of networking will greatly contribute to the growth of startups.”
